Dieter Reith is well known as an excellent jazz pianist, composer and arranger. His activities included the membership in orchestras of Kurt Edelhagen and Peter Herbolzheimer. During this period a lot of recordings were made in which Dieter plays the Hammond. But also albums of his own show him at the B3 on labels such as MPS and InterCord.
The Tracks featured on this EP are taken from the Album "Love&Fantasy" that was released in 1979 on InterCord. The recordings on this Album were originally made in 1977/78 for a german thriller-series called `Die Kette´, like Dieter Reith said; the waste-product of the soundtrack. So, in cooperation with Dieter Reith `Beams, Uschi and Love&Fantasy´ were remastered from the original tapes and are brought to you via the Label `Rare.Sons´. Personal Recordings owner and longtime Groove Attack associate Preddy is giving birth to this new imprint for hard-to-find musical obscurenes. Together with his old friend and passionated JazzHead Pascal Schäfer, who digged this old treasure, they compilied this 3-Tracker and put it back on the scene for your musical pleasure.
